The RPS CYN-R-G segmented flywheel utilizes our patented (#6,796,057) "segmented" heat shield system. This system will not warp like other common one piece heat shields. RPS CYN-R-G flywheels are highly engineered with these benefits like; dynamically balanced, crushed Heli Coil inserts, stepped dowel pins, and over-sized lock-down bolts that are welded to the ring gear for positive retention. Out flywheels are typically 10 to 15 pounds lighter than the factory units which allows up to 20 more HP to get to the wheels.
